What We Do

How does G.P.A. work?

All funding goes to the purchasing and shipping costs of supplying sports equipment for the schools in partnerships with us. Our team coordinates with a sponsor or affiliate with a school to find out the desired needs of the kids. We then take the donations received to supply those schools with everything asked and more.

What We’ve Achieved

  • Began with donating a few soccer balls, footballs, and volleyballs

  • Established a connection with three schools in need within the Arusha province in Tanzania

  • Raised additional funding and supplied official soccer kits and additional equipment to enhance the game experience

  • Resulting in an increase in school attendance across all ages and grades

  • Grew from a grass-roots campaign to an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

  • Built relationships with generous donors who believe in our mission

  • Established relationships in Ghana, South Africa, and Tanzania with the goal of expanding our impact

What we need help with

  • Actively raising money for a multi-use outdoor sports court for schools in the area to all share and enjoy

  • Suppling kids with athletic shoes

  • Sending more general sports equipment to the surrounding schools

  • Growing our outreach to find more schools to partner with and support
